Admit to Rajuk.

Hi people. It's me again. I was in Bhola for some days. And that's why I was unable to post my next topic which I was supposed to. The network in Bhola country-side isn't so well. That's why I had to stay without internet for the past few days. However, I used to get internet sometimes by standing outside under the clear sky, helding the mobile high. But it isn't possible to stay in that position more than 10 minutes. I'm gonna write about my visit to Bhola soon. I returned like a month ago, but school resumed as soon as I returned. So I didn't get any time to complete this post. My summer vacation has started even though it isn't yet summer yet, its more like spring vacation. Anyways, I got enough time now. And now, I'll get back to the main part.

Now, I'm going to write about what happened to me in 2015, and how I got admitted to Rajuk Uttara Model College, and how I spend my year as a Rajukian.

I really wasn't supposed to study in RUMC. It happened that, our school started coaching class, which we thought was for the upcoming PECE. So, I along with some others started coaching. After few days, we understood that it was for RUMC admission. I thought I will soon stop coaching. However, things became different after that. My parents decided that it would be good if I get a chance at RUMC. So, they continued my coaching. After the PECE exam, the coaching classes became more serious. And the coaching ended three days before the admission exam. In the exam, I saw RUMC for the first time. It was really wonderful. And the building was designed perfectly. The playing field was very large. There were also two basketball fields. And now I really wanted to get the chance to study there. So, the admission exam for English Medium-Morning Shift started at 2:30 PM. I was a little nervous. I recognized none in the large classroom. None of the students sitting around me were talking, perhaps they too were nervous. And just before the exam was to start, I finally saw a familiar face. It was an old friend of mine. His name was Rubayet Abrar. His first name matches my nickname. We used to study together in the same class till he decided to skip a class and moved one class above me. His familiar face gave me a  little courage. And as the exam started, the whole building became quiet. The exam was quite hard. It wasn't possible to answer all those things in 2 hours. So, everyone skipped some questions. I'd say the exam wasn't so bad. And the next day, gave the admission exam for English Medium-Day Shift. And on this day, I met many of my old friends who all desired to study at RUMC. All those faces gave me courage. And at the exam hall, I met my classmate Ismail Hossain. I was really glad to see him, and so was he. And after a while, I realized that his seat was just in front of me. We both were surprised. However, even though we both expected to help each other in the exam, we couldn't. The invigilators were very strict. There was hardly any chance to move our head. And so, we finished the exam without helping each other. Some of the questions were a bit odd. But I answered them all. We left the hall after giving the exam, all praying that they may get selected.

The result was given after 10 days. It was given along with the PECE result. I needed to get GPA-5 in PECE to get selected in RUMC. And luckily, I did! I was relieved, but I still had to see the result of RUMC. I got the result from their website. And I found out that I've been selected for the viva. I was so happy that time! I later found out that among all my other friends, only three got selected. I was a bit unhappy, as I was going to see only two familiar faces at RUMC. A few days later, I went to give the viva test, it was very simple. I had to wait a few more days for getting the final results. And then, I did get it. I was now primarily selected! But one of the three friends of mine was listed in the waiting list. And when we finally got admitted, we later heard that my friend who was in the waiting list didn't get selected at the end. Our induction ceremony was on 10th January. The induction ceremony was truly epic! Everyone enjoyed it! Class Six English Medium Morning Shift was divided into three forms. And I was in Form B. Our form master was Narayan Chandra Mazumdar. Our form master is said to be very popular among all the students of RUMC. And students of upper classes told us how awesome our Form Master is. All teachers have a codename or short name. Our form master was more well known as NC sir. Our classes started on 12th January. As time passed we realized how lucky we are to get NC sir as our form master.

After a month, all the students had already known each other and I made several friends. As time passed, the other teachers understood how talkative all the students are. The classroom of every form is divided into three parts. In our form, boys were on two sides, and girls were in the middle. The side in which I used to seat, was always quiet. It was actually the other side boys and the girls (yes, girls gossiped during class time too) who make noise in the classroom. But the teachers never bothered to see who were talking and who were not, and used to punish all the students. It was worse during some teachers. As teachers are not habituated to see girls making noise, they thought it was all the boys making noise and used to punish the boys only. We boys later got habituated to this. Time goes on, exams are held, and I realize that the students are way more intelligent than me. I'm falling behind in exam. I must improve further. We are given long vacations during summer and Eid. The school year ended with a class party. Overall, it was one busy and interesting year.
